Downloaded Maps Working Correctly?

Here's the scenario:

I have downloaded a region map, the picture and the config. I go into SC4Terraformer and apply the picture to the config and save. I go into SC4 and lo, the region does show up and seems to be working correctly except for one thing. The color of the land is all BRIGHT greens and varying shades of more green, not the normal colors of the regions that came with the game.

When I go to make a city and load up a specific tile in the region, the colors are fine and normal, but the strange bright green I get in region view leads me to believe I am not doing something quite right, and is fairly annoying to boot.

Does anyone have any suggestions or have encountered this before? Also, if someone could point me to any Omnibus article having to do with uploading regions I would appreciate it. I see one on the config.bmp but that is it.

Ypu, if youuse SC4terraformer its supposed to do that. You only have to open and save every city and it'll go away.

So I've got another problem, now it's with SC4 Terraformer itself.

I've been trying to download and put into use yet another region. After downloading the grayscale and config for the region I put it in a folder within my regions folder. But, when I go to open it in SC4 Terraformer, one of two things happens:

It either gives me an error saying

"It appears this folder is not a valid region"

or it will go ahead and open it but for some reason it only opens the overview and (radius/min height/ max height/ strength) slider bar windows and won't open the main window. This has begun happening even on regions that used to load up just fine in SC4 Terraformer.

I'm so confused, any suggestions?
