Problem with some lots

Welcome to ST Iamthefuture, the problem you've encountered is that you are missing dependencies. Go back to the lots read me and look for the dependency list. Down load and install those and you should be fine. Good luck!

Or maybe you didn't put the model file into your plugins.  With BAT lots, you need the .sc4lot, the .sc4desc and the .sc4model in the plugins.

First of all thanks a lot for your replies! I read the readme of all the files, none of the above mention to download other dependencies, but looking at the downloaded files, the ones that work have .SC4lot, .SC4desc and the .SC4model files, while the non-working ones have just the .SC4Lot in the zip file. Please help me I just can't figure it out!

You need the Maxis buildings as props, available at the official site, on this page.

You need to be registered to download. If you have Rush Hour, you should also download the Rush Hour buildings as props, found on the same page.

For any lots that use custom BATs you also need Rush Hour or Deluxe.

Thanks a lot!! I downloaded Maxis buildings and now everything goes fine...except for the Las Vegas Luxor by justinsim, I still see that annoying huge brown box, I just can't figure it out!

Quite correct.  Investigating further.

Later:  I have examined this lot with the Lot Editor and the SC4 Tool.  It appears to be incomplete.  I suggest you delete the lot from your city, then release the file.

The building appears to have been omitted.

Oh I see, well it's pity because I'm building a city similar to Las Vegas and it could have been nice to have that Luxor pyramid in the skyline, too bad. Thanks a lot for your patience!!
