All european style cities.

Hi, fellows!

I'm a long time fan om Simcity, since the beginning really. But Simtropolis is new for me. I'm so impressed of all this buildings some people create and let us others use. Thanks to you all. Now to my question. How do I do to exchange all the original buildings to more european style buildings? What is the easist way to do that?

First select only European Tileset, then when downloading stuff from the STEX (e.g Ill_Tonkso's UK bats) unzip them into your Plugin-folder. Remember to organize the plugin folder, so you can easily select differen type of buildings.

Just click the names to get to their stuff!

You should have a decent list of stuff you can download...

I wish there were a way to select only European or only US style. I want some Euro style cities, but my plugin folder is too big as it is

If you plugin folder is getting too big is it because you really need all that, or is it just "nice to have".  You could write the nice to have but unused stuff out on a CD or DVD and take them out of your plugins.  Saves a lot of loading time and memory overhead if you prune that tree.

Yeah, thanks! Iv'e been downloading some buildings but some ugly american buildings are still there. Maybe a Simtropolis wizard could make a mod called "The Euro-city mod" or something. When downloaded your town looks like Stockholm, London or Berlin. You see, I'm not very good at technical stuff. I'm amazed over some works I've seen here. Thanks!

I tend to create regions that have one unique "gimmick", such as a section of a city that has a theme park, or a section that has a unique industrial area with certain ploppables, etc. Through the years, the plugins have really gotten numerous. The problem for me isnt with the load time or with crashing, but with the fact that my parks menu is 10 miles long.
