The package design looks awful. And I've tried worse...SC2K for the SNES. It's awful. It's slow, it has no music, they changed the icon designs, city naming is awful, no terrain, no underground...awful awful awful.

There's no underground, There is nice music, The icon designs are different [i think], You can name your city, There is terrain but you really can't terraform mountains and things like before. No International tilesets from what I've seen, but I think they put it all in the game and Asian buildings along with European buildings will come up randomly, not sure yet though. You can't change the tilesets like in SC4 or SC3000.

About the tileset I think they changed it, noticed the small houses in the american version and the japanese version.

Looks more like a kiddy, on-the-go version of SC3k. But what the hell, atleast it didn't totally deviate from the SC franchise like what SCS did.

Btw, who developed this game? Solely EA?

maybe they'll push it to a Wii, I wonder how that would work with the controller

I played SC2k on a Saturn, I could use a keyboard thanks to an adapter they sold for the modem u could buy for the saturn, and just used the controller for a mouse. my pc wasn't powerful enough to run SC2k so it was my only choice. I loved it, I played for hours upon hours until I finally got a 486dx 100MHz PC, but then SC3k came out lol ... and yes I ran 3k on that old PC. lots of small cities

I want to get a DS just for this game, and tetris. but can't warrant the $130 + $$ for the game.
