Nice as usual GB! The station terrace is my favourite, looks like a typical pedestrianised area you find in any UK town

Good one!

I like especially the entrance of the pedestrian zone at station terrace. These two corner buildings give the whole composition a special touch.

I even like the RR crossing (yes, I know, wonders happen from time to time ...).

I just would either get myself the No-Palm-Tree-mod or an alternative roadside - mod like the SFBT roadside mod. I like palm trees - here in Istanbul, and I heard that there are some at the south coast of Ireland but in generall they don't belong to a Europen CJ IMHO ...

Take care and make Backups!

Here is another look around the capital of the region. This is a more general look at both downtown, suburbs and outer commercial areas. It shows that both modern and older buildings are prevelant in the city. Many areas were badly affected by WWII bombing and the old industrial areas around the canal and the railways have now been rebuilt into modern housing and offices.

Not bad. You don't really get a big sense of the city, but they're nice little corners of it.

Glad to see my hometown Croydon having a staring role!

Nice work, I love the canals. Reminds me of the Docklands in London.

Due to moderatley popular demand I will be using this mini-update to give a more general overview of Helmskirk so you can get a sense of geography. As you can see alot of the city is very dense but the suburbs are located to the east. Due to the nature of the region the west of the city feels very "unfinnished" but this is good I feel.

This is a new suburban area I have created to the west of Helmskirk. Brennt Lake is mainly low and medium density residential housing, high tech industry and it is also home to Helmskirk Lakes International Airport. To the east is the start of the Pennine hills and also the nature reserve of Rock Lakes.
