El. Highway over Rail

Hello. I was wondering if there was anyway to make two parallel railroad tracks with an elevated highway on top of it, sort of like the el. rail over streets with the nam. Thanks in advace

no, sorry, it cannot be made. There have been many attempts with this, but have failed.

However, there is something similar. In the transit networks forum, there is a double-decker bridge experiment thread. Although it hasn't been active in several months, progress has been made. It basically caries rail and highway over the rail lines for the span at the bridge, with a junction for these networks at either side of the bridge. See that thread for more information.

More recently, there is a double-decker highway thread in the transit networks forum, as progress has been made to create this network. You can try to ask this question in the transit networks forum, as it would get a better response.
