There used to be a big thread for asian stuff called something like *Massively Gigantic japanese Bats*, but I do not seem to find it anymore......Anyone knows where that disappeared to.  ehem....Moderators have the bad habit to throw threads always around from one place to another.......

edmonton_stinks, Try typing the words * low wealth* into the STEX searchbar, it will come up with some 4 pages of all kinds of lots/BATs. Can't help you more, sorry.

Welcome to Simtropolis..................

Go there, that will help you and give you the solution of the brown boxes. A brown box is a sign that you don't have one or more dependencies for that lot.

I am having problems finding the dependencies from this lot by Aldara... In specifically the industrial props pack, this is all i get on the link.... Any one have it or know where I can find it would be great help.... gaaaaaaah I feel like a dork for asking something that may be obviouse to me lol.....

mrbisonm: you mean this Massively Gigantic japanese Bat Gallery?

It's not active much anymore, and so I don't use it so much. However, it covers alot of the older material well so it's still worth checking out.

Also, you may want to look into other sites besides Japanese ones, I know of a good Spanish and Polish sites where I find a lot of quality BATs.

I raised this issue over at SC4D (I think you popped in if I remember correctly) and I think it was decided that the file was the one in xmike's post above (JRJ Industrial MEGA Pack 01). Having said that, however, after I installed all the dependencies listed in the download except the Industrial Props Pack, the lot seems to be missing the fences, a couple stacks of cartons, and some barrels. After placing all the BSC packs in the game, all the props appeared to be in place. So, now, I'm currently going through the BSC packs to see which one provides those props. More info when I find any...

EDIT: The missing props mentioned above were in the BSC Mega Props - JES Vol01 file. That's all I could find missing. Have you noticed more?

OK I didnt see that further post about it being jestarrs files lol.... It was cause of you captcity that I went on hunting spree for it and I saw that lot and I had to have all the dependencies before playing lol..... I like the Dependency list but some links are not working siiiiiiigh....

I'm having a heck of a time finding a certain lot. I don't have any pics but I know I once had this lot on my hd and now I can't find it. The best way I can describe it is, a round fort. I thought it was a landmark from the Sim City website but it's not there. I've searched Simtropolis by searching for "fort" and none of those were it. It was about a 5x5 lot if memory serves me, gray brick or stone, with green grass surrounding the circular structure, and it had a roof. I tried the devotion website too but their search feature is not very helpful. Thanks in advance for any help.

Drumbum please don't use caps as that would say you are screaming on the net....  As far as Ploppable forest that reduces pollution this might do for cleaning air but is not woods...  Here is this also that is plop woods though....  I do hope that helps out....

Might be part of this pack. Readme says there's a file called 'BLS GA Farm - Honey by MJB'. It is from SC4 Devotion, so you'll need to be registered to download from the LEX. Hope this helps...

Hi, this is my first post in here, but maybe you can help me. I've been downloading loads of stuff from here and there lately, and I've messed up with some things in the plugins folder... To sum up: I've lost the original maxis texture for green grass. Meaning: all green zones, parks, and even houses that original have grass, now are in a horrible stoney white color. I've been searching the web for tips, cos the only solution I think will do is just removing partially some plug-ins and enter and exit the game in order to find where's the bug... But maybe there's a maxis oficial texture pack or something. I've been looking in the CDs also, but no luck yet.

Any help? I'tll be much appreciated!!

If you're looking for Latin American / Hispanic buildings I guess the best site is Capital Sim, cos it's in Spanish: http://descargas.capitalsim.net/?sitio=csc You'll have to register in order to download.

They have loads of mexican skyscrapers, cathedrals, plazas, residential lots...

I was wondering if there's a thread explaining how to make LOTs that contain various different BATs, like the Pedestrian tiles for example, which you can switch from one to the next with the TAB key instead of occupying several different LOTs. I hope it's not too confusing...

On that site is a waterfrontwall (the first item) that I asked for several times here in this thread and no one seemed to know or even saw it, and I have been looking for it for ages....Geeeez am I glad to have clicked on your link. How is it possible to loose textures from Maxis in your game, they aren't in your plugins folder you know? I just cannot imagine how you did this..........

Anyways, the only way I can think of to replace *Maxis lost things* is to re-install the game.

BTW, Welcome to Simtropolis. ( and hey....here's a tip......don't fool around in other Maxis files except for the plugins if you don't exactly know what you're doing.........)

Yes, the link is to what looks like a Yahoo briefcase. The list is of the files stored there. To download them, just click on the name of the file you want.

Uh oh... just noticed that the SkyTower700 file is a .gca file. I've never had any luck with openning or unpacking those things, so I don't know if it will work or not. I know I've used that buidling, so it could be somewhere else. I'll look around...

Thanks for the answer, I solved the problem at last! The thing was that I had an "artic texture pack" or sorta in my plug-in folder... so I guess that's what happened; it wasn't "stoney" but "snowy"

Now everything works fine after removing it.
