Region View Problem

Any new region I render gets 'corrupted' I guess.  All the large city maps get 'lifted' up, raised above the other maps that are not large.  It doesn't affect it in city view, meaning the land is not raised in city view, just regional.

I run a fresh install of SC4RH Deluxe with Sku Pack 1.  No other mods at all.  I download maps from here.  Create the Region in SC4, exit.  Replace the config.bmp files with the one I download.  Load SC4 load the region, see the config.bmp worked, CTRL+Shift+ALT+R and run the greyscale map I downloaded.  It happens to all new regions I render.  Only the large city sets too I notice.

Any clue?

Try running in a lower resolution.  Open the region and close it.  This is a known problem with hi res screens.

Thanks for the replies so far N_O_Body but so far it hasn't worked out still.  I still haven't come across any previous posts with similar problems sadly.  I did manage to set my res to 1920x1200 though which is a plus.  The region view is still distorted for large maps only 14.gif

I get the same problem when I use my screen's native resolution of 1920X1200. Besides screwing up the looks of the cities, it doesn't seem to affect anything else or do anything corruptive. Would be nice to get rid of it, though.

you have to change the game settings resolution to 1024x768, then open the individual zone, and go back to region view. that will change the problem.

Oh, this post is 4 months old. nevermind. lol
