    Hello people,

I am new to this community.

I have the game for 3 years now, and really didn't play much because of infructious city build.

Recently, one of my friend talked to me about one of his city (a friend who borrowed me the CD to see what was looking like simcity 4, and then kept playing it sometime), and I feel like I needed to try again because I like simcity game (I have been playing with Simcity 2000 a lot when I was younger).

So, I decided to see if I couldn't fin any usefull tips and tricks on Simtropolis since I had it in my favorite... and I found a lot more stuff then I would have expected!

Now I'll get to the point; I downloaded a couple of lot, encountered issues that I solved (damn dependencies!), and now there's a couple of thing I would like to get running in the proper way, if possible...

Can we rotate texture/lot (whatever you call it) to fit exactly the direction you need it to be?

I use this https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=13918 (sorry i just don't know how to link yet), and the corner texture seems not to always fit the path direction I wish I could create. It keeps the same direction, what I mess...

What if I want to create a square path to surround something using that texture? Simply impossible?

    Thank

    Mart

    Hi Mart83,

To rotate a lot or any plopable building in SC4, you can press the "End" or "Home" button on your Keyboard.

Also some textures and Lots, as in NAM, lets you also browse through different roads etc. by using the "Tab" button...

In Simtropolis, you can create links by writing the name of your link, f.ex LINK, then highlight LINK (in this case), with your mouse and click on the create link button in the reply menu. So you write the name, then highlight the name, click on the make link button and write in the URL in the window that pops up.

hope I was of any help!

    take care,
