STEX Collections and laptops

    I just bought a new VIAO 10 two days ago.  I have tried hundreds of times to get teh STEX Collection CD's to work on it, but they won't.  They freeze and crash constantly and nothing ever loads.  It's completely hit and miss when it works.  I'll be looking at one page of items, and click to another and it goes downhill taking my new computer with it!

    Any ideas or anyone else having similar problems?

    What operating system are you running?

    Try turning off autorun on the disk, and remember you should be using a dvd drive as the second disk is a dvd.

    What is your memory configuration?  Do you have a big enough swap file?

    I got both 1&2 in and only 2 works properly. When I put in Vol. 1 it starts to load but nothing shows up on screen. Any suggestions?
