Well, no OBE's here, but a few NDE's. Well, more than a few, but two I remember very well. The first was in 2003. I was in the back seat of a Mustang coming home from a Harlem Globetrotters Exhibition. It was raining, sleeting, hailing ans snowing the entire way home. Horrible winter storm. Anyways, the car lost traction, spun across two lanes of interstate traffic (I-75) and flipped. My head went through the back windshield and hit the decklid during the process. After we landed upside down, I crawled out and pulled my girlfriend out the window, then her aunt from the passenger side. Her uncle (the driver) was pinned in there, but alive and well, so I sat down to rest. I blacked out. Apparently I suffered major blunt force trauma to my spine and caused many vertebrate to shift their position, which in turn compressed parts of my spinal cord. The electrical signals running from my brain to my organs somehow got scrambled and, from what I understand, I "died" twice that night. The ONLY thing I remember after blacking out was a faint, dull grey enveloping me. There was even this noise I can only describe as grey and dull, almost like super faint snow on a TV set. The second one happened in Iraq after a roadside bomb exploded next to my hummwv (humvee). It wasn't the bomb that did the damage, but the Abrams tank that we rear ended after losing visibility through all the damn dust. I dont remember ANYTHING from that, except waking up in the CASH in Baghdad a week later. No greyness. No OBE. Just a helluva bad headache.

About drowning being real peaceful...I've heard that too...but I don't see how not being able to breathe could be peaceful...

As far as Deja Vu...it happens ALL the time...I always "remember" it and then something bad is "supposed" to happen in the scenario but never does...it's weird...

I got hit in the chin once from a line drive at third base one time (the baseball had to be going around 70 or 80mph). It was strange...like slow-motion I could see the ball coming at me...then I blacked out and woke up with a circle of people around me...Could eat anything at all for 3 days because of the pain.

As far as OBE's...I think they make sense...the soul and body being separate...especially when the body "dies". You can die and be resurrected with today's technology...it's strange...

Oh, and ryalmighty1, thanks for your service...it's really appreciated.
