    I'd like to upload my Ashford region that i made using the Terraformer. My question is how do you make a greyscale? I tried with the region overveiw, but the colors were wrong and the region came out flipped,( land>rivers, rivers>land.) Would anyone be able to help me create a usable greyscale? Thanks!

    hi sspelak

    You don't have to make a greyscale to upload your region to STEX

    in SC4TF,

    choose Global Tools->Export

    enter the name of your region in the first dialog box

    point to a HTML description of your map ( or use the TemplateCopyright.html that can be found in the additionalFiles subfolder of your SC4TF installation folder )

    you can now zip the SC4M file created and upload it as a Prop -> Map of fantasy,

    look at those NHP SC4M maps to get a proper installation procedure you may want to put in your STEX description

    Take care

    wouanaine, so there's no way to create a true grey scale elevation map using Terraformer? Whenever i try to export a .png image, it always ends up being completly black whenever i try to open it using anything but Terraformer, so is there no way to export a usable image either? or is it just my version that's making the images all black? And one last question: ), besides the technique you described above, how can i create a greyscale .jpg image for uploading? it seems to be the only format that the STEX will accept when uploading maps.

    Thanks in advance...
