Game Crashes When Loading a City

Okay. I was making a small municipal airport using stuff from various airport packs, when the game crashed. That was okay, I had saved pretty recently, so I reopened SC4, tried to load the city, and WHAMBAM!!! Right back to the desktop. I tried again, same thing. I then tried to open another city, and it worked like a charm. It's only happening with this one city.

    My computer specs:

I am running the Mac version of Rush Hour on an Intel iMac (1.83 GHz) with a 160 GB hard drive, and 1 GB of ram. I have a decent video card, an ATI Radeon X1600 w/128 MB.

Stuff that I was doing at the time of the first crash, which may or may not be relavent:

I was making a small airport, that had a small SWAP terminal, and several RMIP taxiway and runway lots.

I had been plopping some SG irrigation canals for drainage ditches.

I had recently put the GDV Roscoe Yacht Club in another part of the city.

    And probably most importantly....

The game crashed the instant that I plopped one of the SWAP ATCTs (sorry, I don't remember which one).

If you have an idea why this is happening, and how to fix it, keep in mind that the solution cannot be reached by bulldozing something, because I cannot access the city. Anything that can be done, must be done by moving stuff into, or out of my plugins folder.

Thank you in advance for any suggestion, no matter how far fetched.

    u say "various airport packs"

this is a bad thing, they don't play well with eachother. more than likley its a corrupt save file which is almost too common for the game.

i don't think there is gonna be any hope for the city. unless u D/L'ed a plugin recently, then i have to say i think your city is a gonner.

don't do anything yet and see if someone else feels the same way or has other suggestions for u to try/follow.

Okay, clarification on the "various airports packs" thing. I was using a terminal from SWAP, and runways from RMIP. I also have the ACE pack installed, but this shouldn't be a problem, because from what I understand from here (post by Xiziz near the bottom) all three packs are compatible.

If it is a corrupted save file then.....*long string of censored words*. It was my favorite city, and it will take a while to rebuild. brokenheart.gif8.gif

I will wait for more suggestions before outright deleting it.
