Lots don't work to

Ok I have my Sim City 4 verison is Deluxe with all the pacthes avaiable from Maxis.
My problem is that when I tried to edit a lot I download for some idoitic reason that I don't remeber and I clicked "open with" and I chose the lot editor and now its unreadable. The icon changed to the pictore for a word doc. but the extenison is still .sc4lot

i think u just use the LOT EDITOR, and nothing else. u will find all buildings in the LE, including D/L'ed ones. try this method and see if it works.

Ok but lots don't run now I put them in the pugin folder but they don't show up.

if the LE doesn't work now, then u have to uninstall it and re-install it. if the D/L's are in your plugins folder, they should show up in LE. make sure its in this path:

my documents/simcity4/plugins

the LE should be on your desktop. run LE from there

if your trying to change th stats of the buildings...you'll need a editing program like the SC4Tool program or the ireader (i suggest the SC4Tool program it's much more user friendly, Reader is able to do more but is a little more technically advanced)

the Lot Editor will change the looks of the buildings...but I beleive it leaves the stats unchanged
