Gee, Nerd, that's tough.  Just remember all dogs go to heaven.

The story is that they go to a beautiful meadow full of rabbits and squirrels to chase, rawhide treats, dog cookies of all kinds, lots of sunshine.  But... this is not heaven.  Next to the meadow there is a road with a bridge made of a rainbow that actually leads into heaven, but dogs cannot cross without their master or mistress, so in addition to doing a lot of romping around, eating, and chasing small beasties, they sleep by the road waiting for their alpha.

When you go to your reward, you go along this road and if you ever had a dog or  dogs in your life, yours will come to meet you as you ascend the bridge with them and enter heaven.

When my wife passed away in 2007, I am sure she picked up Casey, Paddy, and Geordie on the way, so she was well escorted with two Irish red and a Gordon setter.  Duffy will have to wait for me, and I am sure he will enjoy his time in the meadow.  I don't think it will be very long.

I know that it will be a while, but do think about another puppy.  A man without a dog is like a week of cold rain.  Shultz definitely had it right. "Happiness is a warm puppy."

N_O_B, nice to see you again. I really sincerely hope your health improves, you are a fixture of ST and one of those who sets it apart from any other community site.

Grandé coffee in a venti cup, add 4 shots of espresso, please. 18-22 seconds per shot, nothing else is acceptable. Thanks!

Thank you everyone for your sympathies.

Sorry I haven't been in here for awhile, but I've been busy with family lol.  So many relatives converging on such a small town!  I think all but three family members showed up for Christmas this year which puts the number at about 25.  We also had a tornado warning yesterday....42.gif

Please note that this is not license to do as you please! VBGs are not social rooms and abuse of the lifting of the rule will result in immediate re-implementation. In other words, VBRs are not to be treated as chat rooms.

    Example:

    "Hi."

    "Hi."

    "How are you?"

    "Fine, thanks."

    "Whatcha doing tonight?"

^This is an example of what can get the 2 post rule put back into effect. Just use plenty of common sense and always remember, the mods are watching. 4.gif To use abcvs's favorite phrase, "Always watching."

    Ah...  most fond memories...

Though I wonder if we should really be breaking out the verve clicko or whatever Moose calls it...  now that sounds quite fancy...

I'm headed up to the mountains for an extra long weekend in the snow with some friends, best of all I'll be working for some of it, so I'll come back richer than I left, now THAT'S my idea of a good vacation.3.gif Oh, and I'll take a Dew please, many thanks.

Opps...  I thought the meister had left already...  better be - have or he might freeze my be - hind...

Oh ...  I forgot chat powers don't work in here cos this is not a chat thread...   this thread is for serious discussion on topical matters only...  16.gif

Like the kick ass weather we are having at the moment...

:: runs... shouts over shoulder ::

Oh and by the way...  only Duke is allowed to call me nursey boy...

You're in my forums Nursey Boy, so for all intents and purposes, chat controls DO work in here.  Muwahaha35.gif11.gif35.gif

I think we should have a group discussion on abcvs' nickname. The nursinator is too long, and carries a bit of a stigma to it, because it's how he signs his moderations. However apparently Duke's tradmarked Nursey Boy. Any ideas? Murse is just too common... The man in the white suit sounds psyco... Help me out here people. 3.gif

If a new label is wanted for Craig, let me suggest Kiwi Boy.  This will serve to remind us that he lives at the antipodes.

    What say, Craig?

Must sit in place for me, as long as i visit ST. I hope, everyone's fine, and had a great christmas season, and until i don't forget: HAPPY NEW YEAR! 9.gif

But i'll make an order, although, even, if i just wish to order an apple pie, and some coffee.

    So, how's it going anyway?

Jacky: I'm well, thanks, a bit tired of exams, but still happy. (Even though, todays exam was worse)

Craig: I've kinda forgot to look up on ST. It's always : "I'll look up in a moment.....after 2 hours....Don't forget to look up on ST.......forgot it, okay, maybe tommorow" and startover.....

But i'll try to maintain it from now on. I've missed ST though.

Of course you could always re-open...  2.gif

I heard that was an award winning place!

In honor of the Hussar Bar & Restaurant, which I recommend, we will now stock both the Hungarian Reds and Whites at the bar.

Craig: Yep, it was a prize winner, but i'll let someone else take this year's Trixie 9.gif

But i'm prepairing for a comeback with a more fresh look, new food, new design, and much more entertainement. (As in, bringing hungarian culture closer to ST 2.gif ) On a new installment, of course. A Hungarian Night is a good idea, if anyone wishes, and the owner let's it, i'm happy, to prepare it.

N_O_Body: Now that's an honor. One round for everyone on my conto! How's it going anyways?

csgcseri: I like the idea and I'm up for it! It's up to N_O_Body then.

I'm very sorry I haven't been in lately. Real Life has a way of distracting you. I'm failing Advanced Chemistry at the moment...  22.gif
And it might interest Craig to know I have a new girlfriend lol
