Installing Rush Hour

 I had rush hour already on my computer and been using it... well I had some lots I had downloaded that I was useing.........well I deleted them and was just putting growable ones, and deleting the files of the plopable.........well when I went to play the game, it would start but then it would freeze and then just stop... after it kept doing it, I unistalled the game and put sim city 4 back on there and didnt have a problem, the game works fine.... but when I try to download Rush Hour now, it doesnt do anything at all?????? I tried to manually start the download and still nothing........anybody got any Idea what is wrong?

P.S.  I did delete the lots I had in my folders

what u mean by "download rushour"? u mean to install it or to actually download it? it could be that u need to do a disk clean-up or maybe a defrag might help. might even wanna try a registry cleaner, incase the uninstall didnt take care of the old registry. (this is a highly guarded area of your OS, and is not to be messed with unless u know what you are doing). but if u do, try tweaknow regcleaner, u can get it off of www.download.com. its helpful and handy for old registrys, and also get a spyware program, adaware 6.0 is recommended. also availble through www.download.com

this all i can think of unless there is more to it than that.

ok quick question...is this happening in a new region...or are you trying to open old cities from previous played regions, under the new install ?

Thanx for your help, I got it working now... I took your advice and did the disk clean-up and defrag! :-)

i think u meant "disk" clean-up, lol. anyh00t glad to see it worked. this is a common problem for some programs after uninstalling. so keep it in mind when this happens again
