Serious game problems

I just restarted SC4, and I got only a couple of modds/BATs and started a test city. all of the BATs/ Mods worked, but, the houses, offices, and Industrial areas didn't have any propd to them. You know, things like trees, driveways, and parking lots. Nothing but grass. (different colors for different lots) will someone please help me. This is not supposed to be happening to peope who just restarted their games.

Now in the picture above, those ares inside of the one way roads are supposed to be small flower gardens, a Maxis default thing. That's how I know how there is something wrong with my game. Your help would be appeciated. Thank You.

Did you check your graphics settings? Certain downloads from the official site will reset them to low.

EDIT: Though I have to say, I've never seen yards quite that bare.

My city detail and texture quility are both on high. i turned off the useless clouds and fog and color cursor, and the number of cars/sims is medium.

I think this is a problem with your graphics settings too .... like speak mayormommy. You must see your Graphic Card and Driver. One Card - but there are some drivers. And SC4 - this is a interesting and capricious game. And this site speak about this. Now I have Nvidia GeForce 6600, but real drivers from parent CD not worked with SC4. Now I look GeForce drivers from Internet and now I have right.

Well, since you say you only have a few mods, you'll have to pull them all out and put them back in one-by-one until you find the one that is causing the problem.

make sure u also have the update from SC4 official site. and the bldprop vol1&2.exe for the game. it lets props from DL's and other missing props from actual maxis built buildings show up. like mayormommy said pull out ur plugins folder and do one at a time and see if this does the trick.

Problem fixed. The graphics settings were set to low. and My game was under hardware rendering. But, thanks for your help guys. You all might be seeing my new cj because of your help.
