ohhh, very nice city once again glenni! i love the run down 60's buildings, it's a shame my city doesn't have any of them.

i have no idea what these people are talking about, it looks like a very exciting place to live! take one of your norwegian swedish cars to the downtown, do some shopping, go swimming in the 'clean and unpolluted' lake and then take a nice nap! as long as this place's got high speed internet i'll live there, heh.

keep up the great work bud!

    Thanks for the comments people9.gif

Anyway, first off, a two updated region  images.

    First the traffic view.

Then the satelite images as SC4 says.

    vandalsfjella_update25.jpg

This time we'll visit some of the nature arround Vandals Fjorden,

and a little place / village  / smalltown / whatever you want to call it named Osvika.

    Furubakken_and_Osvika_overview.jpg

Let's start with a little overview of it all Shall we?

    Furubakken.jpg

Here's a small hill named Furubakken (Pine Hill)

    Bleiktjern.jpg

And a small lake named Bleiktjern

    Osvika1.jpg

Osvika itself, not exactly a interesting place is it?3.gif

    Osvika4.jpg

    Osvika3.jpg

What, you expected an old Italian like village or something?

Yet again, we'll visit another small town, Å yeah, that's right the place's name is Å 3.gif

it's slightly bigger than Osvika, and is of course, not as dead, this is a decent little small town, with all facilities you'll find in any city, anyway. It does also have a ferry port, most locals actually prefer to use the ferry to go the Vandals Fjella (the main city) than  driving on the  roads to get there.

    Svartfjell_overview.jpg

First an overview which also shows the truely beutyful, Nitte Fossen (Nitte fall)

    Svartfjell_toppen.jpg

a 'lil close up if you want, aswell3.gif

    Svartfjell_overview2.jpg

So anyway, Å , here it is:

    Svartfjell_AA_overview.jpg

    Svartfjell_AA_dutchbuilding.jpg

I guess you probably wonder what the hell a dutch style building is doing in a norwegian style country , i bet , well there was some dutch architect who was  hired to design the town hall, and this is how it turned out3.gif

    Svartfjell_AA_houses.jpg

    Some houses...

    Svartfjell_AA_centre.jpg

    Svartfjell_AA_ferryport.jpg

And of course the ferry port.

    Svartfjell_nature1.jpg

And a little bit of the surrounding nature.Yep, hilly allright3.gif

    VANDALSFJELLA_update26y.jpg

    And finnaly, the region overview.

Very Norweigan Glenni! The waterfall and mountains/hills are awesome. And villages too, if they would be on flatlands they would look like Finnish villages.

    Hello glenni,

    Beautiful area.

A question, where have you to find the boards on the 9th image.

Good continuation, and thank you for the answer.

I love your region terrain. What are those pine trees I see plopped all over? How did you make that waterfall?

    I'll be watching this one.
