It used to work. Then my computer crashed. Now I have installed it twice and the BATS still won't light up. What do I do? It dose mention on the site that it may not work if you have installed other things.... Like what would those be?

i have the same problem too. I formatted my computer and there is no automatic update.... just a messed up manual one.

The BIGGEST problem with this is that you CANNOT roatate anything (using home/end) that is next to a road, it automatically faces the road and you cannot turn it. This makes placing things like road signs, which do not face the road, impossible!

Any way this problem we are having can be fixed?

Have you installed the EP1 update first?? They have to be installed in order otherwise they wont work, for the EP1 go to the updates and select the region of the world you are in and it will supply you with a correct update. Good Luck! This is all at simcity.com forgot to say that before 3.gif

Yep - as crazychickensc12 said - first you must (from the maxis site) obtain the correct GAME (SC4 / SC4Deluxe/RH) patch and apply it.

For Night Lights - after doing the above - you may still need to (at the maxis site) go to the "Building and Architecture Tool" page and get the "BAT Night Lite" patch and apply it.

haljackey: as to turning things next to the road/street - on my pc-clone - alt (or ctrl, or shift, or some combination) will usually work; when those don't - then the work around is to plop whatever before laying the road/street (or bulldoze transit, plop whatever, and re-lay transit).

No detail is too small to be micromanaged.

I would say if you make sure the mouse pointer is totally quiet, and you use the home and end keys, you would be able to rotate and place the lots the way you need. But make sure the mouse pointer is totally quiet before clcking. If not, the lot will face again the network.

I hope this helps
