Three  supermarkets Foodtown,Countdown and woolworths in New Zealand, the warehouse that holds the stock were the food is packaged and shipped to these three supermarkets is on going a strike australia's Marine union is stopping any food to those supermarkets  from being shipped. Those supermarkets are now getting the other two supermarkets New world and Pak'n'save to order food for them the strikers have been locked out of work and are not being paid but it has been sixteen days and the have not given up go the strikers make the picket line huge. They will probably end up loosing there jobs because the supermarket tycoons are smart and will not give up either.

The stores have empty shelves,no soda, dog or cat food, toliet paper, noodles,or plastic wrap well they have it just not much

If you are saying about the supermarket strike, then how will the people be able to eat?

That is terrible to hear! That would be like Walmart shutting down because of strikes and then Krogers, Albertsons, HEB, and all the other ones shutting down as well.

Well, imagine if all the supermarkets of Australia and all the distribution centres of Australia went on strike. It certainly can't get worse.

Hopefully you realize that as soon as the strike is over (which will likely be in favor of the workers given the circumstances), then your "cheap" store will now have costs closer to your "expensive" store. I think you might want to get used to paying more for your food. Sad, but likely true.
