At a rough guess I would say that the ground under those tiles isn't abolutely flat and level.

BarbyW is right. The ground underneath the pond and stream lots needs to be very flat. PEG has increased the slope confirmity, but the "problem" can not be completely solved because of the nature of the lots. Try to flatten the ground and then place the tiles and the textures underneath shouldn't be seen through anymore.

ah makes sense... what doesn't make sense is maxis removing plop water (Which was in 2k)

There's some plop water on the STEX--but I like the texture on PEG's pond better. I guess you could search: "plopable water, plop water, or ploppable water"...a simple search of "water" would yeild some nice results too.
