Need Help With Saved Game

HI   I hope this is in the right second and Yes I know I have probley got a couple of these posts in the wrong sections but I'm just hitting the ones I know may get me the right info.

I was playing simcity4 tonight and for some reason my City - Rush Hour Tutorial File name - City - Rush Hour Tutorial.sc4 crashed SimCity  -  I think I know the cause of why the city would crash my game but what I'm wanting to know is if there is a tool or anyone that could hack the saved game file and try and get screen shots  as I had work long and hard on this city and I would hate too lose it  if anyone can help I would be most greatful.

The reason is I think any way I was trying to fix the Fire airfeild and because I still had it in the city at that time I goofed up that city

Look forward to hearing from anyone that has any ideas or can help me out. I will attactch the saved game file in email too anyone that can help me out

Well, without the game to interpret the save file, you won't be able to get screenshots.

As for the save file crashing your game... did it crash while you were working on it or while you were loading it? If it is the former, you can probably reload it losing only what you had worked on after the last save you did. If it is the latter, I'm afraid that it is lost (in my experience). You can try removing all plugins and see if you can load the city, but since you were working on part of the default game, I'm doubtful that will help.

There is no way you can get back anything you have done since the last save you made. If you made screenshots, those will still be where they always are, in the albums folder.

The tutorial always crashes when I started the city. Tutorials are supposed to be designd not to crash on startup. What is Will Wright on about? Another gremlin?

I don't have a problem with the tutorials.  Maybe its a poor workman who blames his tools?

Constantina, why not start a new thread on this?  We can start with your system configuraton.

Thanks too All that responded on my posts and all the info I've gotten is worth it I knew it was going too be a 50/50 chance if I could save it

tchaos713 - it was an addon fire airport I found on the Simcity4.com exchange website just like our addon's here on Stex and loaded it then ran the game loaded another city tried it didn't like it then quit simcity then removed the file then load the game again then loaded my Rush Hour Tutorial saved city then it crashed simcity because of the airport being in the city - I tried putting the files back in I removed but still countiued too crash.
