Weird error during map rendering

Okay mates, I've searched for 3 days! for the solution with the help of jacky and GMT and still I kinda messed up:

I would love to have a flat region with only! large tiles  (12 cities), I used the Scarcc program but i've encountered some problems (I have read the online tutorial!)

Everything is fine until the last step, I open the region, I see the large grey empty area I press shift+ r etc. and I open the Jpeg (i've also opened the config.bmp) but I get the error "Region generation error - bmp is 2049 x 2049 and should be 1x1"

Does anyone know what to do, I've read lots of tutorials and  I really want to play sc4

Your config size is not correct.

Make a config.bmp 12x16, or 16x12 pixels, color it all blue, make your region folder, and copy the config file there. Open the game there will be the flat region, no need for grayscale.

EDIT:  So right NicolaiS, he does need to know how to create a config.bmp...

Nicolais, Tungston, thanks a lot for the advice, I've tried it and it worked!!

For some reason even after I created a bitmap with Scarcc and coloured it, it still remained black (thus didnt appear in the game)
