    <p>whats the difference between the  files in the stex section like bat, lot and the other names??</p>

    BATs are buildings created with the Building Architect Tool that can be put into your cities.

    Lots are the lots that have buildings on them, and are created with the lot tool.

    Modds are programs that can be installed into your computer so that something (for the good) is different when you play simcity.

    Lots have an extension of SC4LOT.

    Models have an extension of SC4MODEL.

    Most Modds and all-in-one files containing models and lot files for example have an extension of DAT
