No nightlighting on BATs

Basically, I have installed the EP1, then BAT/Gmax, then the BAT update and still get no nightlights on custom BATs.<br />Which exact file contains the change needed for BATs to light up? Is it Simcity_1.dat? I doubt the changes are the exe file (simcity4.exe). The reason I am asking is because I would imagine the updater cannot update the files which I have manually edited (you know, for traffic speed etc).<br /><br />Anyway, any help would be appreciated.<br />Thanks

Never mind, I see what has happened. My exe file is old version still.

have you used a cracked .exe?? because it doesn't work if you use that.

With regard to your missing nightlights, this is a common complaint. It results from your not properly upgrading your copy of SIMCITY. I think you must have either RUSHHOUR or DELUXE edition for most of the effects available on Simtropolis.

As mentioned before, if you are using a "pirate copy" or a "crack" or even "no cd" warez, these connections won't help you, and I don't believe there is a "fix"

In the future please make an effort to FIND YOUR OWN ANSWERS by simply using the "search" .. a quick search on "night" "lights" would have given you this answer to start. There is a great deal of knowledge on this site for those willing to look.
