Batting Help!!!

I am totally new with batting. After seeing many beautiful uploads, i am now motivated into batting on my own. Problem is that i never batted on my own before! Does anybody know of any good tutorial that I can use to get me started?
I tried a few tutorials, but i did not have much success with them. I just want a tutorial that will give me a base so i can start creating my own building designs.
Once i master the bat, i will upload my buildings and not let Simtropolis down.

Remember, be the ball, kepp you eye on the ball at all times, pick a comfortable stance that allows you to comfortably swing the bat with your arm strength.
