Seinfeld Trivia

Welcome to a trivia game about a show about nothing! Anybody can play (you do not need to sign up before the game starts). Questions will be asked three at a time in this thread, and, if you think you know the answer, you can post with the answer to whichever question(s) you want. 10 points will be awarded for a correct answer, and 5 may be awarded for a partially correct answer at my discretion. There is no penalty for wrong answers, so guess away!

After 35 questions have been asked and answered, the three participants with the highest scores will be asked 5 questions. Whoever answers these 5 questions with the most correct answers will be considered the round's champion.

Scoreboard:
All participants: 0 pts.

Question #1: Name the character who introduced the 'Festivus' holiday.
Question #2: What is George's preffered pseudonym?
Question #3: Which character creates a 'Coffee Table Book about Coffee Tables?'

3. Cosmo Kramer - not only was it a coffee table book about coffee tables, it was a coffee table itself, as seen on Regis and Kathie Lee.

Note: On Scrubs (My Self Examination), Larry Thomas plays himself, and denies he is the soup nazi when questioned by J.D., who then tricks him into saying the famous catch phrase.

    7. Like myself, Tony doesn't like peanut butter sandwiches. Blecch. "Step off, George."

EDIT: The first episode was called "Good News, Bad News."  At the time, the series was going to be called The Seinfeld Chronicles, but producers soon changed it to Seinfeld.

A Q#14: Larry David quit his writing job at SNL in the middle of that season, only to show up to work a few days later to act as if nothing had happened (and stayed through the rest of the season). This event inspired a season two episode of Seinfeld. (

(George used the same tactic during this episode, quitting on Friday, and coming back on Monday to the business meeting as if nothing happened. Except it didn't work out well for George, did it 4.gif

Time for a hint to #13...the stone Kramer wears isn't mineralized, but is often considered a gemstone anyway.

    16. You got it, Kippis05.

    17. That's right, Sanantonio.

    18. Another one to you, Sanantonio.

Sanantonio, there is no mention that I know of on the show. However, it was confirmed by Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David on one of the special features on the season 2 DVD. Just thought I'd challenge you guys with an obscure fact.

    Scoreboard
