Simsville Revived?

While Maxis is trying to figure out how to deal with glaring problems facing the next generation SimCity as described by Will Wright in an interview a while ago, I would like to propose a possible revival of Simsville. Because it was suppose to be an intermediary between Sims level and SimCity level (in terms of scope), it shouldn't be that much performance-consuming as does on SimCity level since it's extremely localized scope that would not require so much to be rendered or something like that.

I think the revival of Simsville can serve an useful purpose of keeping SimCity players amused while they try to resolve those problems with the next SimCity, because Simsville is not much unlike the SimCity or even SimTown (does anyone even remember that? lol) as it is also urban planning simulator, except it's not city simulator, but rather it's town simulator. It's something to think about.

Comments? Feel free to express your opinion on this possible solution

By the way, I was not sure if this is an appropriate board to post in so if this is not the one, please move this thread to the appropriate board if necessary. Thanks. :)

Simsville. . . . never played that one....

I like the small towns 4.gif Easier to manage and more personal than the sprawling cities (never could seem to make them!).

The Sims 3 with Create a world seems to be the closest thing to SimsVille to ever be made.

Ocram's Razor: Though "more things shouldn't be used than are necessary," they're just too fun to pass up! Expect many verbose arguments from me. I will try to write abstracts before or short summaries after from now on.

    Words to live by:
"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit... But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually..." 1 Corinthians 4-11

"Do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34
"Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7:1-3
