Hi Trolca!

 

Just wanted to show you a pic of my new passenger train! I used one of frogface's passenger train and changed some things cause i have'nt figured out how to make one from scratch yet, but i'm pretty happy with the result!

I added a rail coach to the game using a simple way: In the exemplar file, I declared it as a track checker. This way, it is possibly to add trams and other rail vehicles without any cars on it to the game. But I found only one usable rail vehicle on the net (I don't like it):

Hi, first off, brilliant trains, well done! I'm not sure if this type of train has been requested, if it has just ignore this. I'm trying to create a realistic city, and i'm really obsessed with this type of train i go on quite often:

wow, here i see some really nice vehicles, but what i miss is an ICE3. i don't know if it's allready made (i didn't search all 55 pages^^) blue stripes would be very cool, 'cause i allready use oppies monorail in ICE-look with blue stripes.

Colud Someone Help Me i've ben Looking all over for a sim city LRV (Light Rail Vehicle) Also Known as A Trolley. Here in san deigo county we have a ton of them and ther part of or mass transit system. i am currently working on re-building san diego on sim city 4 , and i need some sort of an LRV i figure if i post my picthues that someone will build a trolley for me be low are some links to oictures of the san digo trolley. LRVs or trolleys ars self propelled useing overhead electricity, are BI-driectional (Can Be driven both ways) i don't mind if they arn't bi directional. and articulated. they spin on 2 points. They ARE THE SAME ON THE FONT HALF AS THE BACK HALF! Instead of a horn they have a buzzer. and you can run multiple units togher (our city uses 2-3 cars MAX is 4) Our system can go below and above gorund, but i dont mind if it's all ground levell i just want a tolley that runs. THESE ARE HIGH REZ PICS AND MIGHT TAKE A FEW MOMENTS TO LOAD. YOU MY ALSO DOWNLOAD THEM RIGHT FOM THE LINK TO YOUR COMUTER simply righ click link then click save target as. then save it jast as you do with a word document.

It's just awful that so many of your sweet pic's keep dropping off the picture list as the server drops em off.. seem to last about 4 months.. seems very short given the HUGE amount of 100's of man-hours folk like yourself devote to this site.

 

Keep up the excellent work and thanks for your didactic slant as well.. Maybe you could get your other sidekicks (forget their names, but they have been mentioned in this thread) to edit your tutorial to throw in their comments and perhaps a few of their own specialty add-on info and pics from their perspective.
