Hello, i'm a newbie here, but i hope that someone can help me with the following issue:

I have recently installed Simcity and the Rush hour Expansion, but there is a weird graphical issue in the region overview, once i have played and saved a city, the colours look very different in the overview, which i find terribly annoying.

My specifications:

I have an AMD Athlon 2800+ processor;
an ATI Radeon 9600XT with 256MB memory;
1GB Ram;
2 hard disks:  80GB (master) and 20GB (slave) - Simcity is installed on the Slave disk;
Windows XP sp2
virtual memory min=256MB max=512MB

I have already tried reinstalling the game, which made no difference; i also removed the plugins i had downloaded, which didn't make a difference, and when i reinstalled the game without adding the plugins, the problem was still there.

I live in the Netherlands, so i tried instaling the game in English, but this didn't make a difference either.

Thus, if there's anyone who knows this problem, please help me.

Thanks in advance

The picture:

As you can see, the making money tutoriol looks how it should look like (i haven't played with that city yet), but in the city "Rush hour tutorial", all built areas look yellowish, and the ferry paths are to thick and dark.
welcome to simtropolis!, after installing RH did you install the EP1 patch from simcity.com? if not you will need it, you can follow my step by step tutorial (in my sig "up and running" thread) it has links to the update and a step by step to make sure you have all the files you need.

    hope this helps...

    Okay, I think I might have discovered the reason for the weird graphical issue.
After I reinstalled the game again I updated the game, and everything was fine.
Then I applied the Network Add on Mod, and that's when the cities I played became yellow again.
Thus, now I've found the cause for the problem I wonder if there's a solution. Uninstalling the plugin doesn't work out, I tried that already.

Anyone who can help me out?

    Okay, solved the problem!

The only reason the graphical error occurred was because I had turned off the UI Translucency. The Network Addon Mod then turns the graphics into a yellowish colour. Since I always have this function turned off, it never crossed my mind that this could be it.
I turned it on again because I had read about it in some other mod, and after playing each city that had been affected, everything was fine again.

In conclusion, turning off the UI translucency might cause the overview map to look different (if you have the Network Addon Mod installed).
