<p>Hello all <br />I just downloaded<br /><a href="https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=2299">https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=2299</a><br />and some other plugins. My question is that when i build the above item, it says to type my name and I ignorantly tried to type but only shortcuts to the menu were effective. I use the query tool and it would give me no info  but to say "type your name here"<br />Any help?<br /><br />Oh how do i organize my plugin folder? Do they, the files not folder, have to be directly under plugin folder or can i have a folder created and put the related files in same folder?<br /><br />Thanks all!<br />Happy Sim-ing!</p>

Hey, and welcome to Simtropolis. I can't answer the 1st question as I can't get to the page you've listed for the plugin, but it's been my experiance that changing plugin names is hit and miss with mostly misses. But I ain't that smart. As to the second question, yes! yes! yes! you can use folders and it's highly recommended to keep those plugins organized!. You can nest the folders if needed. If your like me you'll soon have a gig and 1/2 of plugins (and I'm considered a light weight to some) and you need to keep up with them because of updates and such. Make sure you get the dependencies list with each plugin, read some of the Omnibus as there is great info on SC4 being modded by these plugins and just plain good learning about the game.

Check out https://www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=110&threadid=58510&enterthread=y and it will get you stated here.

edit - go with network addon mod!

If you have the Plugin Manager, or the SC4 Tools, you can change what the query reports. My guess the designer of the lot thought that was funny.

I have some plugins but they only show a boxquote>

To solve this problem, take a look at this thread here.

    Btw, what is ploppable exactly?quote>

A ploppable is a lot that can be placed directly in the game without having to zone any Residential, Commercial or Industrial zones for it. The opposite to a ploppable is a growable which is a lot that grows on its own when zoned for in SC4.

    EDIT: Welcome to Simtropolis! 39.gif
