IMHO you don't need to go to this site, nor IMHO should you do it. The quiz is for you.

What downloads do you want to get? There are plenty out there that I'd be willing to help you find.

The main sites are AVSIM, as Red1530 posted above, or Flightsim.com (www.flightsim.com).

I know all those websites! I have basically downloaded everything from them. But I want to fly for that virtual airline. Which is JetBlue, and there aren't many JetBlue downloads, i ahve found only a couple.

It looks like the A320 fleet of tails has been done, search "JetBlue IFDG" on avsim. For the E190, I'm sure you've found that the only decent quality model/repaint is for the Dreamwings E170. On the VA website, likely it is the same repaints modified for the virtual airline (i.e. the VA titles added,) with permission of the original author.

If you really do want to fly for jetblue VA, than you could probably ask to be helped "learn the ropes." I don't know how the VA's atmosphere is, and I'm sure you could go elsewhere to another website to learn to fly (technically) well enough. However, I just checked the website, and it looks like a very good and friendly VA. Look up some jetblue VA pilots on the avsim forums, contact them and ask to learn how to fly and be a part of the VA at the same time. They will probably be more than willing to accomodate your request.

The other way: (I'm surprised you didn't just search the web in the first place for the answers.)

You're probably better off emailing them and talking to them about learning and joining at the same time, rather than many of the "pilots" who sign up just to get the VA benefits, then send in less-than-perfect reports, shall we say.

Sorry if I'm being hard on you, but I'm kind of a stickler for honesty and not cheating your way around the system. Call me a hypocrite, lol. 4.gif

Yeah I understand. My uncle flied for JetBlue...maybe I should make him do the exam for me. I am really good at flying in the game. I know the basic ropes. Auto-pilot, landing, taking off, taxiing and basic communication with Air Traffic Control, all that stuff. And I think I do great working with that knowledge. I'm just not good with the technecalities (spelling help?46.gif) of it. In real life, yeah I would hope the guy flying my plane would know if all the codes for wind speed and OBS and all that, but in my case its a game. And I guess you could call it cheating, but if the exam is that hard, I don't think I could keep up, although I think I could find a way too, and It would make me step it up and get better. So anyways, thanks for the help.

EDIT: You weren't too hard on me! I took your advice kindly. And If anyone else wants to help with the answers, PM me and I will provide my e-mail so you can send it to me.

I'll give you two freebies. LHR's ICAO code is EGLL, and ILS stands for Instrument Landing System.

Interesting to note that Heathrow is EGLL, while Gatwick is EGKK and Stansted is EGSS (Luton and City aren't that simple though.) In Japan, Tokyo Narita is RJAA, Tokyo Haneda is RJTT, Osaka Itami is RJOO and Osaka Kansai is RJBB. Hong Kong is VHHH. Pretty simple coding.
