My simcity 4 deluxe edition doesn't work!!

when I play simcity 4 deluxe edition it goes alright... until I shut the game off and start it again, (or start a U-drive it mission... then the game shuts off)... When I put  the CD 1 in I choose PLAY... then a picture of a bridge appears and a message pops up saying: put the CD in, press OK and restart.   But it says on my language... swedish... plz help me I bought  the game today!!

don't run the game from the CD (even tho u have to have the cd (CD #2) in for copy protection).. get all the updates and patchs from the official site and run from the desktop icon or the menu..

sc4boy is right, if you just installed the game you need to make sure you have all the updates from simcity.com

aight thanks... but I checked the "easy infro"... and there it said that u've got to have 256 Mb memory, but I have 254 Mb... how can I increase it?

There is only one way to increase your system RAM: buy more. If you go to Crucial.com, they have a memory selector there that will help you to know what kind of RAM your machine uses. They also sell it, but you will probably find better prices elsewhere (like at Newegg.com). You may also wish to buy a discrete graphics card, assuming your machine can have one. If you would please share with us your system specs and model, we could advise you further.

Of course, the game will run with 256MB of RAM, it will just do it slowly and you will be restricted in the amount of downloads you can install from this site (and others). You certainly cannot use the NAM.

I'm guessing that your machine uses DDR333 or DDR400 184-pin SDRAM. You can find a 512MB stick of DDR400 SDRAM on Newegg.com for about USD40.00.

You would see a marked improvement in game play and overall system performance by adding 512MB. 1GB would be even better, but then you're talking about USD80.00 or so.

You can get more detailed system info by running the System Information app. You can find it at Start\All Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Information. The first page that appears contains information that is very helpful.
