Have you ever been to a minor league baseball game? If you have... reply to this thread.

I have been to an Albuquerque Isotopes (Florida Marlins organization) PCL game with the Memphis Redbirds (St Louis Cardinals organization) in August 2005. The Isotopes won that game.

Sure have!  The Winnipeg Goldeyes are part of the Northern League and are my favorite baseball team... the Northern League is an independant league, the equivalent of AA level.

I've been to quite a few Minor League games as I find them far more entertaining, simplified, and agreeable than major league baseball.

Recently, I've been to two Saint Paul Saints v Lincoln Salt Dog games, the most recent one had a brawl in the bottom of the first inning! The First inning took about 45 minutes to finish.

Besides the Saint Paul Saints, I've seen the Delmarva Shorebirds multiple times, Asheville Tourists multiple times, Hickory Crawdads and... a few other teams that I don't recall who they were.

Baseball rocks.

The Montreal Expos traded AAA teams with the Houston Astros when the Expos moved to Washington. The Nationals moved their AAA operations to New Orleans. The Edmonton Trappers went to the Astros organization and were moved to Round Rock, TX.

I used to go to minor league games with relative frequency, especially the Columbus Clippers team - which were and still is a Yankee team.

I also went to a couple of Indianapolis Indian games back when they were a part of the Expos system. In both cases, this was in the late '80s and early '90s.

In both cases, they played the Cleveland Indians AAA team from Buffalo (I think). I will have to look around and see if I still have any programs laying around.
