Wierd growling heavy breathing noise

Hello,

Sometimes when I zoom in close to a city, I hear what sounds like someone, or something, growling, and heavy breathing sound. It is louder than the sounds of the game, and it doesnt sound like its part of the game. Kinda sounds like a creature in a horror movie. Is anyone else hearing this?

some of the bats have a tiger growling sound when they grow, this can possibly be what it is!

I just recently downloaded several landmarks, but the growling noise has been happening for months before, from the beginning. Must be the BATs growing, but sounds like a 2000 pound tiger growling.

i remember one of the CSX lots (Raka's cellphone mast) makes a cat screaming sound when it grows maybe its something similar, i do remember nearly jumping out my skin when i heard it, i was tired and playing the game at 2am

Turn off the sound and turn on the radio. it works for me, or alternitavely try turning off all the games soundFX and music.

Nop, that's not about the plugins.

 

It first started about a month before I knew this site. I remember that I couldn't find Area51 nowhere, and I was curious enough to use a little cheat

Anyway, afterwards I always heard those growling sounds. No matter how much I obliterated the region and built new cities (without cheats), the growling still continues in that region.

So don't cheat boys and girls, you've learned your lesson!

I hear the growling all the time... Sometimes it goes away when I do something else drastic in that area. It's like a warning for poor placing of objects. If I was to put heavy industry next to parks and residentual then it may start growling at me! Lol... It's the most obvious reason for sounds like this. The cat sound Frogface was talking about was probably for the same sort of reason...

I do have to boast though. My region just hit one million population and it's bloody awesome!

I had somthing similar when i minimise the game and bring it back up, until i scroll away there is a loud sound like a helicopter, but as the scroll the screen in another direction i fades away this didn't use to happen before.
