Snow Mod Gone Haywire

Hi all, I recently took out the snow mod (original) for my region, just to make the elevation look lower. So I wewnt and deleted all the files, checking in-game after each one. After I got rid of the grass changing file, the one that changes all grass to stark white, I checked and there was no difference. So for the past month I have been doing searches for the file, because I merely sent it to the Recycle bin, but it has gone missing. What I need is help to return the grass to my region. After all, it may be in the Northwest area of the USA, but they have grass. TopCliff

you deleted the file...depending on how much data you added, moved around, and deleted on your harddrive since you deleted the file you might be able to recover it by using "tune-up utilities"...just google it and you'll find it....this programm has a file-recovery function....That might help you out.....already saved me some files ;-) ...I hope this helps you

Once you delete the file, you need to open and resave every city tile to reset the terrain textures.

ACEfanatic: No, you see, the problem is that all the textures ARE gone, except for the ones that override the grass textures.

Wait - are these the textures on the ground?  Or on the lots?

If they're on the lots, I'm afraid it won't change until you demolish the lots and let them regrow.  Not sure about that, though.
