  • Out of the many mods, probs and bat files I have installed, I can thankfully say that I've never had any problems except for one file.  Vinnie's Wine Bar BLS.  I cannot remember installing it but cannot locate the file in my plugins to delete it.

It uses one square on the map (low density commercial) but seems to cover about a 4x4 size lot.  Obviously, this makes my cities look rubbish as it overlaps other buildings and roads.  Anyone know what it is called so I can delete/fix it?  Sorry but I have no screenshots just yet but will put some on shortly.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Obviously those huge hotel-like buildings are the ones I'm talking about. Anyone recognise them and what's gone wrong here? Might be a case of forgetting to install the right Dependencies but I'm not sure which these are.

I have never seen this before and have no idea what is going on. There are only dependencies for this particular lot: http://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=15287

    and: http://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=15209

These are the mega prop packs that replaced the individual ones. Install them following the instructions in the text file in the zip and see if that solves the problem. If not post again and I will see if I can see what else it might be.

    Please see message below.

Barbyw? could it be possible that Tuesday got ahold of a 3rd party pack or lot that references the wrong exemplar? I have seen this issue before (not with this particular bat or lot mind you) with a mod that did not follow the texture ID list and had a conflicting texture ID, was a bugger to track down

I replied quickly last night and then later thought about the picture shown. I remembered last year in the mini CJ I was doing that I had seen exactly the same thing. 9.gif

This was a direct result of deliberately leaving many props and models out when I played. If Tuesday re installs the prop packs referenced above the problem should be solved. The building on the lot uses one of born78's models and also illustrates the importance of deleting the LotConfigPropertyFamily from the lot file. I didn't in this case and it references a Maxis building family so if the model for the building is missing the game will take the family IID and build using that, hence the hotel type building.
