Hi everyone! I've had SimCity for a while now, but quit playing for a bit until now. I have a bit of a problem with two of my cities, Craterville and HourglassSwitz. Craterville has about 31,000 population and HS has 50,000, which is probably very small compared to some other cities, but they are my largest ones.

Now, the problem I have is that the RCI demand is all negative and I've checked everything. The traffic is not terrible. The air and water pollution are not in the red and the crime rate is good and everything is powered and almost everything has water. All the residency has education and medical care. I also checked to make sure everything is funded. The two cities are connected with each other and with other cities also, but for some reason the RCI demand for both cities are in the negative. My advisors are all content, with the exception of my financial advisor who complains that we are low on cash and the safety advisor who says I need more police stations, even though my crime rate is low. I want to fix this so that my city can keep growing and I can continue to enjoy the game.

Any idea on how to increase it? I don't want to decrease taxes because my expenses are greater than my income, and soon I will run out of money. Any ideas are welcomed! Thanks in advance. ^_^

And if more information is needed, I can provide it.

You may have to put industrial near your residential. Put a civil service like police and fire.

his may work, but try it. If not there are other people.

All the RCI bars are negative? All of them??? Not just zero, but negative?? That's very unusual, unless you've set taxes higher than default. Try lowering your taxes all down to about 5% or so, just to make sure that isn't the problem. If everything is still negative, then I suspect a BAT or mod is causing a problem. The only other thing might be an imbalance of jobs and education levels. You might want to place more schools around, and wait several years to see if that helps.

Alright, I'll try the tax thing and see if it works. It can't be the civil service thing because I already have fire stations and police stations. And I haven't downloaded any other programs for SimCity 4.
