Multi-Player Region

Hi everyone been a member for ages. I have a question i have been searchen for a way to host a multiplayer game. SImNet looked really good and from what i read looks like a great start but sadly enough the page is no longer maintained . I wasn't to sure where to post this but was looken to have some fun with the family and we liked all the sims games and heard of people doin multi-player with it. Srry if post is kinda jumpy have only a few mins before need to head into work.

If anyone could point me in the directions of a progam that works just as good or could help me find a working down for clien and server for SimNet that would be Cool and in which me and My family would thank you.

if you want a multi-player region, all you would need to do is find some people willing to join you in the experiment and just exchange updated cities with eachother via email, aim or whatever. to do this, just make sure that everyone youre playing with has the same region, mods, plugins, etc. every couple of game years or so, save the city, then find the city in your C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\SimCity 4\Regions folder and "trade" cities with whoever yur playin with. i know it sounds confusing but its about the only way i can think of to do it

Yes, there are a few multiplayer regions, but I think there is only one going on right now. If you do decide to start one, I will goin you.
