I have all the dependencies needed(I don't use the Peg MTP Pines) installed but I still get Brown Boxes. What am I doing wrong or how could I fix it?

*Blows dust off topic*

You sure?  Double-check:

BSC Mega Prop Pack jeronij Vol02

Try downloading all of Jeroni's mega prop packs if it still isn't working.  There are 8 or so, available on the LEX.

Actually, I am missing the jeronij Mega Prop Pack(s). To my defense, they weren't linked in the readme(Or mentioned anywhere else, I think). But anyway, thanks for the quick answer. I hope that will fix my boxes. Also, I am sorry for the Necroposting.

EDIT: Now I definetly have all the Dependencies, but I still get brown boxes alongside R$(And possibly other Residental areas, but I haven't tried. ). Is there anything I could still be doing wrong?

EDIT2: I also tried installing jeronigs other prop packs but it actually made my screen flicker(wthout removing the boxes).

I started the game again, with all possible dependencies installed, and it stopped flickering after restarting it, but the...props that were supposed to be there, I guess, continue to be brow boxes. I've uploaded a screenshot, if that helps.

Through Trial and Error I found the files causing the brown boxes(And probably missing dependencies) to be in the Street Mods folder(under C:\Users\Sinnaj63\Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins\SFBT\Street Tree Mod). I also noticed that the brown boxes are on parking lots, so I guess they could be parked cars or just a coincidence and something else on the streets side. I also found out that the brown boxes are not caused by anything in the "tree props" or "parking lots" folder. Could it be that there is still a Prop Pack I am missing? Or some other dependency?

Sorry for the triplepost, but I fixed the brown boxes by installing the PEG MTP Super Pack. Even though I am 108% sure I did select not to use the Peg Pines when installing, they appear to have still appeared.

I don't know if Jeronij is still here, but if you are still here, will you make the same mod for roads and avenues in future?

Jeronji has not been active for some while. I'm pretty certain that this mod will not be updated further.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

Both jeronij Street Side Mod and the SFBT Street Tree Mod are great. However is there any way to use only the parking spots? Or at least drastically tone down the amount of trees or increase the spacing between them? I know that jeronij isn't active anymore, but perhaps there is a modder around that could offer some helpful advice?

Such mods are handled by T21s, it's totally possible to edit the patterns to increase or reduce the probability of certain parts appearing or not. At it's simplest, you could remove all such files that don't have the parking spots. I say simplest, but you'll be working with a lot of Hexadecimal data with no good visual guide, so you'd really need to understand what you are looking at. A T21 is just a LotConfiguration Exemplar, but with different properties that can be "attached" to transit networks. You could copy the data into a bunch of empty lot files to see things more clearly, but it's a time consuming task using Reader. Better to get all the ID's for the parking props, then sift through all the T21s, removing those without them. In any case, it wouldn't be a small job, but with a little practise it's less complicated and more dull, repetitive work. I can't imagine any modder doing this for you, unless they had a great desire for the same effect. Not to mention, you can't re-construct another's work and release it, so there are issues there too. Some useful reading, should you fancy trying this yourself.

Thank you, this is very informative!

Why does the mod not appear in your files here? I need to know what the dependencies are to ensure that I have it installed correctly since I'm getting random brown boxes on my streets and have had to bulldoze the tile and rebuild the street several times to get rid of them. This is happening because I had to buy a new HD and reinstall SC4 when my previous one crashed, but the backup I had for my Plugins folder was out of date.
