Region downloads

Hi all

Appologies if this is a stupid question but forgive me, I am new (and fairly technophobic )

I am looking for some regions to download as the ones I design never come out quite right (and maybe if I see how one should be done I can get better).

I thought I had found some on here, but when I tried to use them they were JPEGs so I assume I am doing something wrong (my custom regions aren't JPEGS).

What am I doing wrong/where do you recomened I go for some custom regions online?
