NAM:Roundabouts & Turn Lanes

Having problems with these things, not seeing any turn lanes and cant seem to make roundabouts, please help.

Ive looked through the read me and cant find anything about it.

did you download the NAM from the official MODS section, or the exchange? on the exchange, i dont think the turning lanes/roundabouts arent included. or it may be that in the installation u deacided to un-check the optional plugins, which i think includes roundabouts and turning lanes. try re- installing it and carefully reading the instructions

I will try re-installing it, i downloaded it off the modds section on simtropolis.

If your left turn lanes don't show up then you didn't install the NAM properly. Like cnystrom1 said, re-install and check the options carefully. All you have to do to make a left turn lane is make and intersection like normal... The lanes appear automatically if this option is installed. To make a roundabout, read the help file that comes with the NAM, I am sure the instructions are in there. However, if you did not et the left turn lanes installed, you probably don't have the roundabouts installed. To make one you just "draw" a 2x2 circle with the roads or streets or a 3x3 circle with one way roads. The game will turn this into a roundabout.

If you have installed the roundabout and turning lane plug-ins following files should be in your NetworkAddonMod folder:

If you have used the PC-version you most have forgotten to mark this for installation.

Sorry, what is NAM? I am reall interested in NAM. I think it would help me to rebuild my network system

st901202, check out the NAM threads or do a search and you'll have all the answers to all your questions. In a nutshell, it's the Network Addon Mod for Rush Hour and it adds all kinds of transportation options and road/rail building tools. You can download it from the STEX, as far as I know. Good luck. It improves the game tremendously. Be SURE to read the read me when you get it, as there are options that you may or may not want, and some interact with others. Enjoy!
