    Hi everyone,

I was searching to see if any Washington, DC realism project has been undertaken.  It looks like there have been some, but have never really gone anywhere.  I was wondering if anyone had any insight as to why this was so -- is there something unusual about Washington that makes it a bad city to try to recreate?

The one that I thought of was that Washington DC is a very non-industrial town.  There are so many government jobs that it would be hard to get the right demand for CO-$$.  Are there mods that could take care of this?

    Thanks!

I don't think that is the problem so much as that recreating any town is difficult. It takes a lot of work, time, dedication. If you look, there are only a few recreated cities that have gone anywhere. Edmonton, SF, NYC, Chicago, Paris.

Actually, it may be because DC is pretty boring architecturally. I live there and there are a few nice mansions tucked away, but the offices and govt. buildings aren't much. A few monuments, but nothing really striking about the city.
