Cruise Ship Crashing

Ok, ive got the cruise ship services up and running. My main city has one which works well but the one in my beach city,  for some strange reason, runs into the land....I find this frustrating and annoying. Does this affect the path of the transportation in any way? And why does it do this?

its on a straight coastline. like full straight

hmmm its deep enough for whales...its about...it takes up 1/5 of a medium tile map. i do a jet ski u-drive-it mission and the ship suddenly turns and smashes my speed boat. I laugh like hell but feel sad because the cruise ship can't find its way..

hmm... its on a steep beachside... beaches are about mayb...20-30 tiles away.

u dont have pictures so i was guessing there anyway my opinion would be - the cruise port might be too close to the land or ur cruise port is downloaded because my ships never crashed on cruise platform that is given in the game
