Probably a common NAM question

For some reason all of my sims drive on the wrong side of the road.

I installed NAM shortly after getting SC4 unlimited, so I don't remember if this happened before.

Reinstalling did not work

I also reinstalled with the left hand driving thing, and now they drive in the proper lanes, but the lanes themselves are backwards.

I'm using better pathfiding 2x capacity

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Backwards ? Like on the right side and you want the on the left ?

Download the MAC version (a zip file) and install: NetworkAddonMod_LEFT_HAND_VERSIONS_ONLY_Required_Additional_Plugin.dat

not quite...traffic that should be in the right hand lane is in the left and vice versa. Probably wouldn't have noticed it if it wasn't for cars entering the lanes through the left hand turning lanes. Also, i'm on a pc

First of all, you should tell us in what language you have installed SimCity 4. If you're installing "UK English" or similar, the cars will drive on the left side, just like in reality. When installing the NAM, you have to select the left hand drive plugin, otherwise the NAM additions (turning lanes, roundabouts) won't work properly. In addition, you have to draw the roundabouts in the same direction as the cars would drive in your country (clockwise for a UK version, counter-clockwise for a right hand drive version).

The PC and the MAC version of the NAM is identical except of the installer, which doesn't work on a Mac. vester_DK mentioned the MAC version, because you're able to extract a single file out of the ZIP archive. But for installing a file, you can also simply run the installer again, and put a checkmark in the appropriate box.

So, what version do you have, and what exactly is your problem? Maybe you could post a screenshot that is illustration the issue. "Backwards" isn't exactly helpful, since this would apply to both configurations...

RandomInsanity: As Andreas wrote please post a picture. You can take a picture by pressing ctrl+shift+s. You will find the picture in the folder: ...document\SimCity 4\Albums

Then you can use Irfanview to convert the image from png to jpeg.

I fixed the problem!

it seems I had a European version of the game , and it had no plain english folder, only ukenglish. So I had a bunch of brits invading my city!!!

I solved the problem using rendermad's advice in the post you linked.
