What's your shortest city commute time?

I have one city with a very small population. It only consists of a single house imbedded in some farm land. The house has 6 residents with 2 sims working on the farm. They simply walk next door to their barn.

Commute time is 6 minutes. I'm wondering if anyone has seen a shorter commute than that? Note: I'm using NAM with perfect pathfinding, but none of the cheat mods in it.

I had one that was around 25 - 30k people at the time and the commute would vary between 4 and 8 minutes. Stayed that way for many sim years. Small tile, relatively dense, NAM with better pathfinding and no cheats. I did have a subway and had neighbor connections on three sides. Since the city has grown, it think it's up to the 16 - 20 minute mark.

The shortest commute I have ever had was 0.2 minutes but that was with NAM perfect pathfinding and 10xcommute. Still pretty good though...

I was doing an experiment on commute times and I had this utterly lazy R$$$ sim who walks to his office (a college) right next door and his commute time was always fluctuating around 2 to 4. And to my horror, he says he's got no job.

Yeah, it's really annoying when R$$$ sims say they have no job when there are hundreds around them. I don't use the NAM, but I'm sure it would help correct this.

They just don't know how to walk like normal people do. My shortest commute time right now is about 19 minutes in a city of about 210K.

In my large-sized city of low density res and 65,000 people, the commute time is five minutes with the 10x commute option in the NAM.
