After all the problems I have finally managed to bring back New Haven!!! I will post a more detailed description in the first update which will be about the country, Calderwood.

Great Looking City.  I really like that first pic...  The building look very unique and the layout is great.  My favorite part of the picture though is the bridge on the left hand side that spans the small inlet.  Very nicely done...

I'm quite annoyed with myself because I've been testing the GLR mod on New Haven and it hasn't worked yet. And everytime I enter New Haven to test it and it doesn't work, I get bored and leave meaning I haven't done much work. I'll try to do more soon but here is something I have been strongly considering:

 

 

The New Haven Evening Times will have regular articles here and keep you updated on current issues in New Haven when there are no pictures to show. And look out for the Where's Wally splling mistakes! But don't phone that number or you'll end up getting some one on the other side of the world or somehting...

I'm sorry about the lack of updates. In fact, I've not even made the first one, but progress is slow and it doesn't help that my game moves at a pace of a disabled snail. I'll try to get some more pictures for you soon as I have a 4 day weekend !!! Although I'm meant to be studying, I'll manage to fit everything in. After me BAT project is finished in the next week or so, I'll be taking a little break from BATting so I'll have more updates then.

Ok, I got GLR working so now I can focus on New Haven, but there are exams... So after the exams is activities week at school...i.e No homework/studying=More updates! So so so so so unbelievably sorry to keep you waiting, but the end of next week will be the beggining of time to play!!! So, I am working on what I can in between studying and hopefully I'll get some stuff done for you!

Finally I bring you update 1!!! I know I said update 1 would be about the country, but that'll have to be done at a later date. Please remember that what you see here is a work in progress and there is still room for changing and adding stuff. I've hardly even started the major work which will be going on starting soon.

NHX (New Haven International) Airport

NHX is New Haven's biggest airport, it is getting bigger but space is limited, there is uncomfirmed talk of a new airport, but its still being discussed.

Terminal 2 is being completly renovated, it's been going on for quite a while, but that was because of bad weather. Work pace is expected to pick up now that it's the summer.

There are lot of nice little details there, especially the hedging/fencing along the roads and rails. The airport construction picture is an interesting addition.

Was that an...*gasp*...UPDATE!?!?!?!?!*passes out*    Wow, looks great, can't wait for more.  Nice work on the airport, it's huge.  I like the way you are doing the wording, but it can be very hard to read, for me at least.  I would try putting a mostly transparent backround under it, that way it can be read easily, but you can still see under it.  *hopes that the next update will not take as long, lol*

Thank you very much for your comments. About the wording, I had a feeling that that might be a problem. In the first post, I blurred the picture underneath the words...Did that help? And about the next update. Certainly not as long as this one took!
