I have searched for a while and found no similar topics. I see this bug for as long as i can remember, but it seems really strange.

In this firt picture is what i thinks should allways happen

And here is what i see in some industrys

When a new industry is built there is a large % that the query will only show freight, and for a while, but the period of time to change to the full info querry could take 2 seg (in real life) or many many years in the game. Fortunatly, once it changes to the complete query i think it never goes back to "only freight".

I thinks the major problem is that it's not just a query bug, since the actual trafic in the nearby roads prove the there is actually no cars/pedestrians.

I first thought the game didn't predict incoming comuters and the factories had workers that lived in a nearby city, as time went by i bagen to question this "bug". Can someone tell me something about it?

    Thnks

I have noticed this inconsistency in the route query tool.  I am afraid we are stuck with it.  I agree with you it is deucedly annoying.

This started happening to my city too a couple of days ago. I have a industrial area which is connected via higway and subway with the residential. Up until then everything was fine, sims were going to their jobs and all of the industrial buildings, and the qoute query tool showed that. But suddenly they decided that they didn't want to go work there anymore, and as time went by, they only went to work the buildings that was closer to the subway station. Which brings us to today, where the subway station usage dropped to 0%, no-one uses the highway either, and the industrial buildings (dirty and manuf) just seem to function but with no-one actually going to work there. Using the route query over them only shows freight trucks leaving. The buildings haven't been abandoned, and seem to be functioning, while the jobs seem filled in their query. My demands are very high for dirty and manufacturing, but also for r$ and r$$. I don't understand why they decided to stop going to work at the industrial area.

Have you checked your pollution displays?  What does your desireability display show?

I get the same thing, and it's really frustrating. I can check the graph, which will show plenty of jobs for industrial (I have the mod that adds the extra graphs), but the route query only shows freight trucks and trains. I asked about the numbers inconsistancies in the forum a few months ago and got a lot of responses with insight into why this was happening. Seems like a lot of people have similar problems with the numbers to some degree. It seems like the inconsistancies are spread out, and not just limited to industrial, but industrial seems to have the most problems. My guess is that the jobs are there (as they seem to be in my case), but the query tool just doesn't show them for whatever reason. I've also noticed that sometimes a building WILL abandon after showing only freight trips, but when it does, the route qyery will "say workers and freight: none", and the query tool will show "vacant" and give the usual reasons. Looks like another bug we all just have to live with. Annoying as hell, though.
