    Hi all !

Iam more or less new here at simtropolis.com . So sorry if i post in the wrong forum ,  sorry if i use english badly.

I just started to try out the lot editor. I actually have the LE installed for 3 months or so but only used it to look at buildings that never seem to grow in my city.

So first i started to edit the https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=14326  World War 2 Fortification Set (by ancientsociety) in order to get something that looks like a world war 2 museum. (note: iam not a fan of war stuff in a sim city 4 city but i need this in my city to show screenshots to a friend...long story...)

So here are two pictures to see with what i came up with: small World War 2 Museum :

(ALL THIS PROPS, BUILDINGS AND VEHICLES WERE MADE BY ANCIENTSOCIETY , this is my first picture post here , so i actually dont know if it is allowed to post pictures of lots that are made out of otherones lots...)

Second Lot i was kinda unhappy with (although of course its absolutly great work) the Franz Ferdinand Highbury Arsenal Stadium.

Ive just started a city and iam building an area of that city with only gascooker buildings (some il tonkso and simgoober buildings as well). The Highbury Stadium fits perfectly to the gascooker buildings especially with the gascooker terraced houses next to it. So ive downloaded the version with the houses but they looked too monotounos so ive started to edit the houses next to the stadium as well some light green textures. The results can be seen here :

(the yellow line marks the stadium lot.)

A picture from the other side :

And one last picture from the 3rd side :

    highburyedit3.jpg

I used Gascooker shops , especially cornershops cause they look awesome and i thought they would fit better than regular houses.

All this editing was BEFORE ive seen pictures of the real highbury stadium which isnt so huge as i thought it is and the original houses that comes with may be more realistic than the cornershops that i added.

But my question now is : Glenni said in the SC4 chat that editing the highbury game will mess up my whole city. Is this actually a proven fact cause i had no problems and still have no problems in my city. Everything is normal.
So maybe someone has more info on what actually can happen when you edit the highbury stadium.

    thanks

PS: sorry for bad use of english language.
