I have a big problem with 2000 Plugins.What should I do?

Hello people;

I have a stupid problem in Sim City Rush Hour.I have 2400 Files from Simtropolis.They work BUT NOT ALL!If I start the game than the Buildings are on the menus but NOT ALL!Example there is a BUGGED building like my Area 51 with Stealth Bomber!I can not drive it.Or I can not see every building from menu.

I added all files in a folder in plugins folder.But it don'T work.32.gif

What should I do with this bugged Buildings?

sry I made two of them!

Not all buildings you download will be found in your menus. Some are "growables" which means they will appear when the conditions are desirable  for them to exist. Others are rewards, meaning you have to earn them by meeting certain conditions. Many of the custom reward lots from the STEX from the BSC/CSX/BLS display a checklist when you hover your pointer over their icons in the menus, which should help you figure out what you need to unlock them. Some are also linked to the difficulty level that you selected when you started the city.

All of the vehicles you see in your UDI Menu require a certain building to be present in your city before you can drive the vehicles. You can't just drive them around without their host building in your city. Aircraft require either an airstrip/airport lot or a building that has a helipad. Watercraft require the Marina or one of the ferry terminals. The road/land vehicles require a particular building for them to be available. The easiest ones to unlock are civic vehicles (emergency vehicles, trains, buses) and these two: getaway van (needs developed commercial zones) and the ice cream truck (needs developed residential zones).

Many of the traffic vehicles you see (cars, pickups, vans) are accessible through the MySim Car Catalog. In order to drive them, you will need to insert a MySim into your city first. MySims can only be inserted into residential buildings. The higher the wealth of their home, the more cars you can select from the car catalog (The cars are sorted by wealth level).

Besides, it may be a good idea to remove the documentation files. Search for .doc, .txt, .rtf, .htm, .html, .jpeg, .jpg, .gif, .png and .bmp.

Better move these files under the STEX_Downloads subfolder. Some lots have the documentation stored under the Plugins subfolder and this increases load time.

    thanks Swamper for you're tipps.But I have despite buildings, the not pertain to Reward like park sets...

    At vehicles you could not help me there.There I become a sure enough bug.A bug like e.g I can not drive Stealth Bomber because it say I need Area 51 but I already build it!And yes,yesterday the Stealth Bomber had no bug.I worked yesterday with an programm called ahmm.....Sim City 4 Startup Manager.And than some buildings are worked but THAN SOME BUILDING ARE AWAY like new road textures!!How can I not there aggressiv???!And in one vehicle (coach) there its away from the Carlist menu and a new car (recycletruck) if I drive it than the game crash!

    ARGH!!!

    and now?What should I do?

    If it is at all possible and you haven't done it as yet, reorganize your plugins by source.  Also, make sure there are only .SC4lot, .dat, SC4DESC, and SC4Model files in your plugin structure.

    With that many plugins, you have to start testing new ones.  The testing problem is enormous and unending.  The authors of a mod or lot cannot possibly test all possible combinations of machines, configurations, lots, mods, props, etc.  It couldn't be done in a lifetime.

    Without knowing the exact interaction and the loading order, and what each plugin does, no one can help you but yourself.  The best we can do is offer advice, and some of it may be bad.

    We can check for gross things, however, if you post your system configuration including the CPU, VIrtual Memory (Swap file) sizes, graphics card type, RAM size, DirectX version, Operating System version (including service pack level), and SC4 version (from the executable's properties).  If you do this, we'll try to see if you have a software or a hardware problem.
